We will be leaving for the Regional track meet at Alamo stadium on Thursday, 4/24. We will be staying Thursday and Friday nights at the LaQuinta Inn & Suites

We will provide all meals, but you might want to bring money for t-shirts or additional snacks. You may ride home with your parents after the completion of your event. Fredricksburg Regional Qualifier Meet

On Friday 4/18 we will be traveling to Fredricksburg for our last meet before Regionals. The bus will leave at 9:30. Bring a sack lunch because field events start at noon, which will make it hard for us to go anywhere for lunch. We will buy dinner on the way back. Click the link below for schedule of events.

Ditrict Track Meet 4/2 & 4/3

The District meet for 9th, JV, & Varsity will be held on Wednesday and Thursday this week at Burger Stadium. On Wed. the 3200 for all divisions starts at 9:00 am. If you are in the 3200, have your parents drop you off at burger by 8:30 or see Coach Pittman for a ride. Also, note that the 9th grade 1600 has been moved to Thursday night. The field events will start at 10:00 and running prelims will start at 4:00. All relays will be run on Thursday as Finals only. All athletes will be excused all day on Wed. if you are not competing until the evening and would like to stay at school that would be fine. However, there will not be a late bus, so you will have to get your own ride to the meet. If you are not at school, you better be at the meet! We will not provide any food, so bring money and a lunch. Click the links below for a schedule of events.

Brenham Meet on 3/28

The bus will be leaving by 10:45 on Friday 3/28 to go to Brenham. Brenham is a 2 hour bus ride, so it will be a good opportunity make up any work you will be missing on Friday. Make sure to go by your classes and get any make up work you can to take with you. Also, we will be providing one meal, but you might want to bring some money for snacks. It will be over late, so we will not get back until close to midnight. be sure to let your parents know. Click on the link below to get a schedule of events.

McNeil Mavericks Relays

You will be excused from class after 2nd period on Friday.

Come down to the locker room and get ready so we can leave by 11:00. It will be a little chilly, so dress warm and allow plenty of time for warm-up before each and every event!

sample warm-up:

*jog a lap

dynamic stretches: knee tucks, quad walk, take a bow, calf stretch, toe suckers, franks

high knees, carioca, shuffle, A-skips, B- skips, fast legs rt & lt

several build-ups and several starts

If you feel tight at all see a coach and let us warm you up and stretch you!

Vista Ridge Relays (9th grade)

Field Events begin at 9:00. Running pre-lims begin at 10:30.

Finals will start one hour after pre-lims are finished.
